Mom & Dad went away on a three-week vacation, and left me to care for the two parrots, one cat, two businesses, the architectural committee for the neighborhood and best of all - the renovation of the dining room and the master bathroom. These pictures are the photographic evidence of my own personal nightmare. They owe me, big time, baby.
The new dining room, with two of the four windows installed.
The other two windows are boarded up because the wrong size was ordered. The correct ones should arrive someday.
The kitchen's through that door.
Light switch in the dining room.
Notice anything a little odd?
High end, industrial-style lighting fixture.
They're the hottest new thing in all the shelter magazines!
Interesting doorway curtain treatment from the dining room to the living room.
Plastique est tres chic, n'est pas?
Mom and Dad separated all the pieces of the sectional in the living room to create "Couch-henge."
Godiva doesn't seem to mind all the topsy-turviness, "Just leave me one comfy chair to shed my fur on, and I'll be happy."
Mom and Dad sold the couch on Craig's List for 50 bucks. But the cat hair would have cost the buyer another 50, so the couch had to be vacuumed.
Dad's explaining something technical...
Mom thinks it's cute when he acts all knowledgeable and stuff.
